Spker Leader Activity Policy
Effective October 1, 2026 · Version 2.0
This is an English translation for reference. The Korean version is the official version and prevails.
This policy applies to the service relationship between Spker (the "Company") and leaders, and sets out leaders' duties and the rules for settling activity fees.
Leaders must agree to this policy when applying for the leader role; the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy agreed to at sign-up continue to apply. The leader role is given to the account used to sign up, and no separate leader account is created.
Article 1 (Status of leaders)
① A leader is an independent contractor who has entered into a service contract with the Company, and is not an employee.
② Leaders are not directed or supervised by the Company and run sessions independently under this policy and the Service's operating standards.
③ The leader role is given when the member applies to be a leader, and a community leader becomes eligible to lead sessions by completing onboarding under Article 1-2. Native · creator leaders follow Article 1-3.
Article 1-2 (Granting the leader role and onboarding)
① A member who has completed a guest session may apply to be a leader, and the leader role is given immediately on application without a separate review.
② The leader books a group to lead (taking over an existing group or opening a new one) and chooses an onboarding session set by the Company.
③ The Company decides whether onboarding is completed. Once it is marked complete, the booked group is assigned and 1 backup pass is given.
④ A leader may cancel an onboarding session booking up to 12 hours before the session starts, and cancelling also releases the group booking.
⑤ If the Company marks onboarding as not completed, the group booking is released at that point. The leader may apply again, with no limit on the number of times.
⑥ If an onboarding session is cancelled for the Company's reasons, the group booking stays and only the onboarding schedule is chosen again.
⑦ A leader who became inactive without ever leading a group goes through Paragraphs 2 to 6 again when applying for a group. A group application by a leader who has led before is confirmed right away.
Article 1-3 (Native · creator leaders)
① Native · creator leaders enter into a separate contract with the Company; the Company sets their leader type and assigns them to groups directly. They do not go through the application · onboarding process in Article 1-2.
② Pay and settlement for native · creator leaders follow the separate contract, and the activity fee · backup provisions of this policy (Articles 2, 3, 3-2, 5, 6, 6-2, 7 and 8) do not apply.
③ Of the items in Article 4 ①, backup request · provision, extend · not extending and payout account registration do not apply. If a session is cancelled because the leader cannot run it, the Company adds a make-up session at the end of that cohort.
④ The article registration · session running duties in Article 4, Article 4 ② to ⑤, Article 8-2, Article 9 and Article 10 apply unless the separate contract provides otherwise. Where the separate contract and this policy differ, the separate contract prevails.
Article 2 (Treatment of pay)
① Leader pay is treated as business income and paid after withholding tax under the relevant laws.
② To withhold tax and submit payment statements, the resident registration number and payout account details are collected. Collection and storage follow the Privacy Policy.
③ If no payout account is registered, payment may be delayed.
Article 3 (Settlement rules)
① Activity fees are calculated per session run. The rate for a session the leader leads depends on the number of participants confirmed 12 hours before the session starts (regular members assigned, minus excused absences, plus confirmed guests), and changes after that point are not reflected. The rate for a backup session is set regardless of the number of participants.
② Settlement sessions add up the sessions used from the leader's assigned sessions and the backup sessions provided; assigned sessions are used up even when cancelled or when a backup was requested. When settlement sessions reach 10, those 10 sessions become due for settlement, and any remainder under 10 carries over to the next settlement.
③ Sessions are counted cumulatively across all groups the leader leads.
④ Invite rewards · conversion incentives (Article 3-2), their clawbacks and other deductions are not per session, so the full amount arising since the last settlement is included in the current settlement.
⑤ Cancelled sessions and sessions for which a backup was requested earn no activity fee. They are still counted as settlement sessions, so the payout for 10 sessions can be less than 10 sessions' worth of activity fees or ₩0, and a settlement is recorded even if the payout is ₩0.
⑥ Settlement runs every Monday morning and covers sessions whose attendance or cancellation was confirmed by 24:00 on the previous Sunday (Korea time). Sessions confirmed later are included in the following week's settlement.
⑦ If the activity fee balance becomes negative because of no-show deductions · backup request deposit deductions · conversion incentive clawbacks, it is offset in later settlements under Article 7 ④.
⑧ Specific rates · deduction amounts · payout times are announced in the Service.
"Pay" in Article 2 is the tax-law term for business income; the other articles of this policy and the Service screens use the asset name "activity fee". Both refer to the same amount.
Article 3-2 (Conversion incentive)
① If someone who attended a guest session run by a leader buys their first regular pass within 14 days of that session, a conversion incentive is credited to the leader who actually ran the last guest session before the purchase (for a backup session, the leader who provided the backup). The number of sessions in the regular pass does not matter.
② Repeat purchases and extensions of regular passes are not eligible.
③ The conversion incentive is credited as an activity fee at the time of purchase and included in the next settlement.
④ If that purchase is fully refunded as a withdrawal within 7 days of payment, the credited conversion incentive is clawed back. If it has not been settled yet it is not paid; if it has already been paid, it is offset in later settlements.
⑤ The amount is announced in the Service, and the rule in effect at the time of purchase applies.
Article 4 (Leader duties)
① Leaders do the following.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Article registration | Register an article for each session the leader leads or provides as a backup, by the session start time; edits are possible until the deadline set by the Company |
| Running sessions | Join at the scheduled time through the entry link provided by the Company and run the session |
| Backup request · provision | If the leader cannot run their session, request a backup in advance under Article 5; if the leader accepted another leader's request, run that session |
| Extend · not extending | Choose extend or not extending before the assigned sessions end. A leader who submits not extending still runs all assigned sessions, and may withdraw it until a successor leader is set |
| Payout account registration | Register a payout account and the withholding tax information in Article 2 to receive activity fees |
② Attendance is confirmed automatically from each participant's entry record and reports are generated · sent automatically, so leaders have no duty to confirm attendance or review · send reports. Where this cannot be determined automatically, the Company checks and handles it.
③ Specific deadlines for each item are announced in the Service, and the Company may adjust them after prior notice.
④ Leaders must not disclose participants' information obtained during sessions to outside parties.
⑤ Leaders must not personally record audio · video · photos of sessions or share them outside. The Company recording · transcribing · analyzing sessions to generate reports is not covered by this, and that processing follows the Privacy Policy.
Article 5 (Backup)
① If a leader cannot run their session, they must request a backup in advance within the deadline set by the Company.
② A leader who accepts another leader's backup request and runs the session receives the activity fee for a backup session under Article 3 ① and 1 backup pass.
③ A leader who accepts a backup has the same duties for that session as the assigned leader, and article registration and running the session under Article 4 apply as is.
④ An accepted backup cannot be cancelled; if there is an unavoidable reason, the Company handles it through 1:1 support.
⑤ If the session is cancelled after assignment, it was not run, so no activity fee is credited. Backup passes follow Article 6-2.
Article 6 (Backup request deposit)
① Requesting a backup deducts 1 backup pass the leader holds.
② If the leader has no backup pass, an amount set by the Company is deducted from activity fees as a deposit, and if the activity fee balance is below that amount, a backup cannot be requested.
③ Each request results in either a backup pass deduction or an activity fee deposit, not both.
④ If the request is cancelled before a providing leader is assigned, the deduction is restored.
⑤ If no providing leader is assigned by the deadline set by the Company and the session is cancelled, the deduction is not restored.
⑥ If the session is cancelled before it starts because no one was expected to attend, or for the Company's reasons, the deduction is restored. However, if people were expected to attend but all of them were absent and the session was cancelled, it is not restored.
Article 6-2 (Backup pass for cancelled sessions)
① If a session is cancelled for the Company's reasons, or because all expected attendees were absent, 1 backup pass is given to the leader running it. This applies to both assigned sessions and backup sessions.
② The pass in Paragraph 1 is not a restoration of a deduction and arises separately from the deposit handling in Article 6.
③ It is not given when the session is cancelled before it starts because no one was expected to attend, or in the case of Article 6 ⑤.
Article 7 (Sessions not run)
① If a leader does not join the session by the time set by the Company without requesting a backup, it is treated as a no-show, and an amount set by the Company is deducted from activity fees. No-shows and all expected attendees being absent are determined automatically from each participant's entry record, and the Company may check and correct them.
② A leader with 2 or more no-shows may be subject to termination of leader status. Termination is not automatic; the Company decides.
③ Paragraph 1 also applies if the leader who agreed to provide a backup does not attend; the requesting leader is not held responsible and their deduction is restored.
④ If a deduction exceeds the activity fee balance, it is recorded as a negative balance and offset in later settlements. This also applies to the deposit deduction in Article 6.
⑤ A leader who disagrees with an automatic determination may request a correction through 1:1 support, and if it is corrected, deductions and restorations are applied again.
Article 8 (Invites)
① If a leader invites another leader, a reward is credited to both when the invited leader's sessions run reach 10.
② If 10 sessions are not reached, no reward is paid.
③ The reward amount is announced in the Service, and the rule in effect at the time of payment applies.
Article 8-2 (Publication of reviews)
① Ratings and reviews of leaders submitted by members are all published on the leader profile. On member screens the author is shown anonymously ({group} participant · {date}).
② Leaders cannot remove or hide ratings and reviews about themselves.
③ The Company may hide only reviews that violate its operating policy, such as abuse · defamation, exposure of personal information, or ads · spam, recording the reason. The average rating is calculated over all reviews, including hidden ones.
Article 9 (Expiry of activity fees and leaving)
① Backup passes have no validity period, and the balance does not go below zero.
② A leader may leave at any time, regardless of leader status, if they are not leading any group. A leader who is leading a group leaves after completing all assigned sessions with not extending and being removed from the group. Ended groups are not counted as groups being led.
③ A leader cannot leave while the activity fee balance is negative.
④ On leaving, backup passes held expire, and amounts due for settlement are paid before the withdrawal is processed.
Article 9-2 (Change of leader type)
① The leader type (community · native · creator) is set and changed by the Company.
② The type can be changed only when the leader has no group being led, no group booking and no onboarding booking, and the activity fee balance is ₩0 (fully settled).
③ Backup passes held are kept when the type changes and can be used again when the leader returns to being a community leader.
Article 10 (Termination of leader status)
① The Company may terminate leader status after prior notice in the following cases. In urgent cases, notice may be given afterwards.
2 or more no-shows
Repeated failure to perform the duties in Article 4
Insulting or discriminatory remarks or conduct toward participants
Disclosing participant information to outside parties
Other violations of relevant laws
② Even if leader status is terminated, activity fees for sessions already run are paid.
Article 11 (Changes to this policy)
① The Company may change this policy and announces it from 7 days before the effective date, stating the effective date and the reason.
② If pay rules or deduction amounts change to the leader's disadvantage, it is announced from 30 days before and each leader is notified individually by app notification and KakaoTalk message.
③ Changed rules apply to sessions from the effective date onward and are not applied retroactively.
④ A leader who does not agree to a change may terminate the service contract.
